[Let the record show it]
Let the record show it
was because I wanted nothing
that I pursued so much more
There wasn’t a hole within me
Terrified men make myths out of
what they don’t know. I knew
the power of what I already had.
Once I was like you—
ignoring the hunger among us
Then I turned to my hunger
And gave it my life
