Sky Offering

I drew my blue hand.
I put it in the soup.
Veins bubbled, knuckles sang.
I raised it to the sky.
I said, I want.
In the taiga’s waiting room.
In the jungle’s waiting room.
I stoned my body.
With black earth locally grown.
I stoned the earth.
Through the keyhole—
long grasses pressed down by thunder—
my blue hand said come.
The way is an open melon.
