Hardline

Nothing is as alive as the way hate can make me feel.
The pleasure of loathing, like silk in the shower,
an iron-plated pool of magnets, a 10 a.m. house fire, a love song
to a drunk. The wild purple of it, the evening sun of it.
The getting enough of it.

I buried into the fissure, the glow!
How could I not be drawn in? Spun down?
